  • Dayna Gremillion

    Accountant / Consultant

    At Michael Choate Associates CPAs, Dayna's first priority is assuring every client receives exceptional customer service and prompt attention.  Dayna joined the firm in 2015.  She brings over 30 years of experience to the office.  For much of her career, Dayna worked in the financial services industry.  She also has extensive experience in non-profit accounting and worked several years for other local accounting firms.  Dayna specializes in Small Business Accounting as well as new business development.

    A native of Avoyelles Parish, Dayna attended Louisiana State University, Alexandria.  She also attended Spencer Business College earning an Associate Degree in Business.  Dayna enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Monica Wright

    Staff Accountant

    Monica is a staff accountant who does small business accounting and individual tax preperation. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Monica brings some industry experience in accounting to the office and is excited to help us help you! She will be taking the CPA exam in 2016.

    Monica enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.

  • Lenora B. Krielow


    Lenora is an experienced tax preparer and is part of our tax management team.  She received her CPA license in 1990 and has over 15 years of public accounting experience in the areas of tax, governmental audits, business valuations and litigation support.  Along with public accounting, Lenora has worked as Vice President, CFO and Director of Finance for various industries.  She has over ten years’ experience in the manufacturing, wholesale, and energy service sector.  Lenora obtained her accounting degree from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and also obtained a certificate in business valuation and forensic financial analysis.  Her current professional organizations include being a member of the AICPA and the Louisiana CPA’s and she is currently a board member of the Louisiana Manufacturing Institute. 

    Lenora recently moved to Baton Rouge and holds a private pilot license.  She enjoys spending weekend time flying her Cessna and spending time with her EAA flying club members.  She is the President of EAA Chapter 541 Barnstormers.

  • Tatum Mahurin

    Administrative Secretary

    Tatum is our Administrative Secretary and is responsible for the effective flow of the information through the office. She will also be the first person to welcome you when you visit us.

    Tatum has over 15 years of administrative office experience primarily with IT firms.

    She is originally from Gonzales, LA and lived in Hawaii for four years. Her favorite pastimes include traveling the world with her husband in search of the perfect surf spot, supporting local artists, watching football and spending time with her children. Her motto "being open to new adventures and just enjoying life!"

  • Abigail Lauren Choate

    Abigail arrived on the scene June 6, 2005. Her best talent is flashing those big, baby blue eyes at clients and friends.

    Although she does not currently handle any client accounts, she shows outstanding potential for future growth. Abigail is expected to graduate from college in 2027.

    Like most new employees, her favorite pastimes include staring into space, eating and playing with personal toys.

  • Benjamin Michael Choate

    Benjamin arrived on scene June 23, 2003. He helps with employee morale and entertaining clients and friends of the firm. He is not responsible for any accounting or tax services at this time, but shows great future potential. Benjamin is projected to graduate from college in 2025.

    When not craving Happy Potter books and movies, his favorite pastimes include laughing, reading, karate, and exploring with his parents and grandparents. Benjamin's dedication service was held at the Chapel on the Campus.
